Ian has most recently been engaged as Contract Consultant working on Fleet Migration for a NZ Company. Prior he was Bid Manager successfully winning one of the largest radio communications projects ever awarded in NZ. He has worked for Darc Technologies Ltd, a small hi-tech start-up owned by Dennis Chapman. Ian is also Managing Director of Pennian Consulting Ltd - a small business and technology consulting company. Ian also owns and runs a property investment business, and has recent experience in the ownership and operation of a residential air conditioning business. Previously Ian had 30 years with Tait Electronics Ltd, and was General Manager of Tait Communications Ltd, running the NZ Sales business of the Tait group for the last 7 years there until 2013. Ian has previous governance experience with 9 years on school boards of trustees, including roles as Chair, and Finance and Health and Safety reps, and also in advisory board roles within Motorsport NZ, and has run several companies within the property development and management sector. Ian has skills in general management, sales, complex technology, negotiation, marketing, and international markets. Ian is married, lives in Christchurch, and retains an active interest in motorsport, and plays golf and likes to look after our planet.
